Our highly successful Characters Stage Company, which was well known in the local area between 2012 & 2019 for producing original plays, as well as working on the National Theatre Connections project ‘Bassett’ in 2016.
We’re excited to announce our re-launch with new sessions for 12-18 year olds.
At this free Taster the young people will be working with a professional director on theatre skills, as well as scenes and songs from plays and musicals like ‘Mean Girls’ & ’Six’.

Take a ride with the Characters Stage School cast on a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Based on the record-breaking West End production and the beloved film and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins).
Eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts, sets about restoring an old race car with the help of his children Jeremy and Jemima. When they discover the car is magic and can float and fly, evil Baron Bomburst tries to steal it, but is outwitted by Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts.
